Default City of Torc'qua farm

This build uses the SoA monk build created by NuratoScryed

Here is the build for the tank, and the smiter...in that order

if you don't know the skills just by picture. then here they are.

Tank:
Sheild of Absorbtion
Spirit Bond
Protective Spirit
Spell Breaker
Blessed Signet
Blessed Aura
Life Attunement (yes i know its balthz spirit in the pic...i was still testing at the time so was goin solo for no kills, just tankin)
Essence Bond

Smiter:
Vital Blessing
Balthazars Spirit
Retribution
Holy Wrath
Signet of Judgement
Bane Signet
Blessed Signet
Rebirth

enter Torc'qua from the Realm of Anguish. The tank enchants himself, and the smiter enchants the tank. the smiter should switch between headpeices depending on what he is casting so he can get the max out of everything. in the picutre i have the tank with signet of judgement and bane signet but u could change your secondary to bring a lvl 1 quickening zephyr for the first spell breaker (just incase one isnt up already) or even blood ritual to give the tank a better start.

take the quest so the gate goes down (if the tank takes it make sure he targets himself after taking the quest or he will enchant the quest guy) the reason you can stay alive through however long you need to tank is you will use the quickening zephyr the margonites put down for you to make your spell breaker infinite. usually they can keep up a QZ as long as it takes to kill them, but sometimes they wont have one up and youll get screwed. Also. sometimes when casting spell breaker you will get knocked down by the warriors and then ur screwed as well. Ive only cleared that first are of the margonites and havent bothered to do the quest. but it might be possible. these margonites drop fairly well, and right now the weapons are at peak value.

so go farm b4 the price on the drops go down.

bear in mind : a mesmer could run the smiter part just as well as a monk (but using signet of illusions instead of Signet of judgement)

Looks nice , I thought about something like that solo with the visages because of famine but didn't try it yet. Maybe you could drop BaneSignet and add a Visage?

Great build btw now I need a smiter to test it

a mesmer can do the smiters job with signet of illusions but i dont have one of those so i took screens of me smitin with a monk

and switching bane signet for a visage is 100% a bad idea because these guys dont hold aggro very well. and its even unsafe to go pick off the last one standing with the 2 smitin signets because if you dont fire then back out fast enuff ur smiter is gone in 2 hits, unless ur tank is skilled and can prot up the smiter.

and if ne of u want i can smite or tank this for u. cuz recently my 2 best farming buddies quit and now i have no1 to farm with.... ....stupid dunkoro takin my drops......kinda tired of him...

**edit**

i also had the idea that you could run these 2 people and a group of 6 people as well. maybe 2 monks 2 warriors and 2 nukers or something similar. the farming duo could empty the area of as much as they could and the group of 6 could follow behind (far behind) and clean up what is unkillable by the farming group (usually the monks) this could be a way to do the mission using this build

Very nice, I'm assuming the tank uses spirit bond and when it ends he casts SOA?

I must be doing something wrong, because as soon as qz drops they don't seem to want to replace it, so I run like a mofo and by the time I"ve reached a new qz no spellbreaker...aka dead jodie.

thoughts? tips?

i can tank pretty well, but how long should it take to take down an entire mob? after about 1 or 2 minutes of spamming 1, 2, 3, well, SB gets interrupted because dunkoro doesnt kill fast enough. I managed to get them to 1/4 life (tested at the foundry). I have around 600 HP and dunkoro has 12 in smiting, didnt want to invest in runes for him.... I might have to.

Very nice build btw.

Going from 12 to 16 smiting will make a big difference, especially since you can do more damage with both the enchs and the signets

Thx first, but...how did your kill those monks?

My friend and I tried this build, however, we couldnt kill any group since their monks were hard to get. They just kept casting healing whisper and healing touch.

didn't try this build yet, but i imagine that you could replace balth spirit on the smiter with Scourge Healing
